The first design to be completed is the baby blue version, with the pink girly version set to follow shortly. We had an order for these cards before they were even off the press, so we are very excited to see the first printed batch!
The elephants and giraffe started out life as a inky line drawing before being scanned and coloured in Adobe Illustrator. The foliage was painted by hand and then scanned in to keep the fresh 'jungle green' colour. The flags were drawn to add a 'party' feel as we think the elephants would be trumpeting the new arrival.
We are really pleased with how they turned out (very many elephants & giraffes later, and lots of cups of tea) and hope you like them too! Now back to the drawing board...
