It's that time of year again where we have lots of weddings!
As a stationery designer, I always feel very privileged when someone chooses me to create stationery for their special occasion, whether it's a Wedding, a party, or the arrival of a new baby, it's always so lovely to hear about the excitement and all the planning! On occasion, I am very lucky to attend the event where I've created the stationery for, and although it feels a little strange at first, it's so lovely to see where everything ends up and that it all fits with the style of the event. One such occasion I was lucky enough to attend, was when very good friends, Laura & James tied the knot!
It was such a fabulous wedding and everything looked absolutely...
beautiful on the big day, from the bride herself, (better mention the groom too!) to the Church, the gorgeous Art Nouveau style venue where they held the reception and their car - it was rightly so, a great celebration where we all danced until the wee small hours! Laura asked me to create her full stationery suite, with emphasis on the shade cornflower blue, which the bridesmaids were wearing, so we worked on the invitation first and I sourced a Japanese paper with the cornflower blue in the background. After the invitation was designed, we then worked on the 'on the day' stationery, from the Order of Service, to Menus and Placecards and the Table Plan.
Here's a little peek into how it all turned out...
