style finds with produce and goodies from local businesses. There's a little beauty therapy area upstairs ready for treatments and you can hold vintage hen or tea parties (and parties for littler folk too).
All in all, a great local hub, so naturally I was delighted when Fay wanted to stock my full range and we both got very excited talking about potential new product lines (more coming soon!). Normally, I only sell online, and whilst I love to present my products with packaging that looks very pretty and enticing, it became clear that my current packaging needed a redesign so people would know all about who and where they were buying from, as they wouldn't be shopping from my website or Not on The High Street, where you can read all about Ten and Sixpence. I also had to come up with a way to display my pricing as my products don't normally need physical price tags but in a way that would keep with the retro, polkadot style of the shop.
Naturally, Mr.Velvet's wanted to be involved with the redesign and made a fair few suggestions of his own, here's a snap of the shop decked out with my products. Note the new framed Illustrated Alphabet letters!
