A Very British Christmas...

A Very British Christmas A Very British Christmas Ten and Sixpence

We're very excited to unveil our Christmas collection for 2012! With the world focusing their attention on our little island for much of 2012, it got me thinking about our British Christmas traditions. For example, did you know that our much loved Christmas crackers were invented by a man called Tom Smith, back in the 1840's after a family trip to Paris where his daughter loved the sweets 'bon-bons'? A few snap-crackle-pops-from-his-log-fire-later, Christmas Crackers were born! But back to the drawing board (and several paintbrushes later) three brand new card designs were ready!...

Without any further ado, let me introduce them as '5 Gold Rings', 'Rudolph' and 'Choir Boys'. As you know, we are based in Cambridgeshire so inspiration from the wonderful city of Cambridge is never far away - every Christmas Eve, the world tunes in to hear the infamous Kings Choir sending listeners them into festive mode, so as a nod towards the choir our 'Choir Boys' design was produced. As always, the cards can be fully personalised inside with your name(s), address and message, plus all three new designs can also be personalised on the front! Plus, for the first time, we'll also be offering packs of festive gift tags, ready to attach to your gifts with red & white candy-cane twine!

Hope you and yours have a wonderfully festive holiday season!
